You might think all of them can be psychedelic, “offering you creative exuberance of the mind liberated from its ostensibly ordinary fetters.” Most practical IT people do not like these concepts at first because they are a different way of going about delivering IT infrastructure. The same can be said for Jimi Hendrix music for conservative folks, it is not until you have an open mind and think differently about the music that it strikes you as profound and brilliant.

John was was recently on a Drobo webcast talking storage tiering in a vCloud architecture. Many storage companies are making announcements around SSDs and cloud, but very few can boast about having partnerships with OCZ and Amazon – the top provider of both technologies respectively. These announcements also set the stage for what our customers can come to expect from Drobo as we move forward into 2012 and beyond.

Every technology solution is a group of harmonious elements, whereas the solution is the single effect. The power of an ensemble is much greater than the sum of its parts. I’m sure you’ve experienced for yourself how parts in harmony deliver overtones for a combined sound that is perceived to be greater.
