Can you believe it has been 30 years since the Men at Work song hit the airwaves and introduced us to the “land down under,” the old fashioned way (i.e., before YouTube)? I did not witness any man “chunder” while visiting Sydney as the well-known song would imply men do, but I did speak with many customers who are using Drobo business storage to back up and protect business data.

My daughter’s Girl Scout troop worked to assemble over 3,000 meals this week for shipment to Haiti to help relief efforts there. Many places on our earth do not have water security, including many places where water shortages are chronic. It is said that armed conflicts in the future will be waged over control of access to water – we cannot live without it.

blog mblandini e1332538823856 If I had $1,000,000   protecting data costs less these daysAs 20th century Canadian philosophers Page and Robertson of Barenaked Ladies tell us, “we wouldn’t have to eat Kraft dinner, but we would..”  Kraft dinner = Mac & Cheese for those outside Canada. Most know the lyrics to the $1M song, and if they had $1M themselves, they would not buy exotic things like an emu or a K-car.  Certainly not a huge storage area network, though that is what some of them can cost a business.
